Pharmacological Actions:
Agele marmelos has anti-amoebic property.
Holarrhena antidysenterica has anti diarroheal action on resistant EPEC {Enteropathogenic E.Coli}
Aegle Marmelos is effective against Escherichia coli and Shigella spp organisms and is useful against diarrhea induced by them.
Acacia Arabica shows antidysentery and antidiarrhoeal activity.
Punica granatum’s astringent action stops dysentery and diarrohea.
